the reason you do a tune first is because of the free retunes. ie: you buy a 181 pulley and dont have enough cash for a tune. the car is in danger of lean conditions unless you park the car until you have the cash for the tune . if you get the tune first theres about a 15 to 20 hp inc and any mod added later is free retune so its only a fone call and the car is safe.
