There is a retaining nut on the bottom of the OEM ****, but it does'nt thread onto the actual shifter shaft. You loosen that from the ****, and the **** pulls up and off from the shaft. Be careful of the leather boot.

Well, I can't seem to get the link to work. If you go to the "Interior" page, and go to the #3 page in the history, about 1/2 way down you will see my post. Sorry, I'm not computer savvy....

So there is no threading on the bottom of our shift ***** eh?

I'm just trying to get a new shift **** and they sell them in like 6 or 7 different thread patterns, which is why I assumed ours was threaded. They are in no way a Crossfire specific company, but I thought it might work.
