It's hard to tell from that photo, but, that looks to be a simple thread on type handle. That won't work with the six speeds, because of our lift up and over to get into reverse. There are NO threads on the end of the shaft to thread onto, sorry.
If you take a look at the left side of my sketch page, you can see my rendetion of the shifter shaft. The end of the shaft has two features, a double sided flat spot for the internal construction of the OEM handle (keeps the handle from twisting around the axis), the second feature is the retaining slot cut around the shaft towards the bottom (this is what the OEM tightning nut clamps into on the OEM handle), this is so you can lift the handle up/over into reverse.
