I'm going to post these hastily shot images elsewhere, but since I responded to this thread I figure I should put 'em here too. I need to get better shots but we just finished this off yesterday afternoon and with Monterey Week in full swing and me headed up the coast tomorrow for Concorso Italiano, RM Auctions, Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion and Pebble Beach I just don't have time.
The Doningtons are on with the factory tires mounted. All the exterior silver trim has been wrapped in Wraptivo flat black to match the wheels; the CROSSFIRE letters have been taken off the back (I've resprayed them flat black but may not bother putting them back on) and the slasher stripes have been swapped for flat black as well. Oh, and the chrome Chrysler wing logos front and rear are wrapped in flat black with the center emblems left exposed. The only issue was trying to wrap the roll hoops - I'll have to take them out in order to do a proper job, but many coworkers think I should leave them silver to match the interior console bits. I'm still on the fence. Yes, I know, I need to lose the shiny license plate frame, too.
You can see the Seat Cupra front lip spoiler but the Mopar rear diffusers are hard to see in the badly underexposed rear 3/4 image.
Bottom line: I wanted to dramatically change the look of the car and I think this flat black change does just that, making the car look much more aggressive overall.
