The most suprising thing I learned running the Ultragauge, is how often the car will go into open loop. On most other cars in the past, I noticed that once the engine gets the O2 sensors hot enough, through exhaust or the built in heaters, it stays in closed loop.

I just traveled 5000 miles with the gauge in my Crossfire. When coasting, even down a slight grade on the hiway, it immediately goes to open loop. Just touch the gas for 5 secs, and it goes back to closed loop. I understand completely why it is doing this, I just never noticed this in any other cars, but then I never traveled with an OBD2 reader hooked up either.
