I use Dot 5 silicone as does the US military and post office.. Flushing never required. Non hydroscopic. No water in the brake system. ergo, no rust. No negative action on my ABS. It destroys the after market for calipers, wheel and master cylinders. I use it in my cars and motorcycles. You have to remove every last vestige of Dot3 or4 when converting. It is not compatibile.
