i need some help, pwrease!
i dont make subscriptions often but i think something is wrong with my car and its going to get worse resulting in a huge expense, im paranoid and neurotic a bit so my co-workers dont listen to me anymore.
ok so from the time i turn my car on from a cold start, once the idle cycle gets to the point where the rpm's drop there is a slight whistle! i had my friend install the 74mm tb he did something weird with the vacuum hose to where it misfired and threw cel but a shop corrected the problem and the cel went away. i threw that in there so maybe that is a place to look. any suggestions would be welcomed.

i dont know if it is the rear differential or the transmission or a support bearing but there is a thump which seems to only get worse over time and im not sure where its coming from.its not all the time though i think its like the top of first gear? my car has 101k miles on it so i decided to do the differential fluid. i used the correct one i just cant remember it off the top of my head but i used the forum. i think i went with the oem but either way it was synthetic. my friend said there was no metal sheen but he said it was dark it used about one and a half quarts?
is there any recommendations from anyone who has a Xfire with 100k and counting? any noises wouldnt be suspension related cause i did new shocks all around, the tires are new as well. i had a transmission service at 33k which would be roughly 70k miles on it now? before i take her into a shop and have techs look at me like im insane i thought i would see if anyone on here could help me. the only think i think i could do is take it in for another tranny service and have them check all the mounts.
