Max and I designed and built our own intakes, picture below.
We were not happy with the filter being as exposed as they are in some of the setups and wanted them safely tucked in the engine bay, but heat soak is an issue. We ended up using spectre canister race filters. They flowed better than the filters others were using and being enclosed was key. We can true 3" piping for the entire thing. I do not have any pictures of my new setup, but here is the nearly identicle finished product on my last crossfire....
