I never said it was NPT, it's obviously not a tapered pipe thread... I said I thought it was 1/4 flare (not inverted flare), which uses a 45º flare rather than a 37º like an AN would. The fitting in the picture I posted on the left is a 1/8" NPT to -4AN, the top of the fitting is -4.. the one on the right is 1/4 flare, which looks alot like an AN but the flare is not the same...
