Until further research is done and can be justified by General Motors, this Impala SS is merely a top of the line high-performance version of the 1991–1996 Chevrolet Caprice.
3. Me, I think that you guys are probably just super defensive & sick of your cars being called taxi cabs and bloated and a Caprice with a body kit.
A few final thoughts...since I'm bored at work and stuck on this conference call. Zzzzzzz....
1. We've never had run-ins with any other club. As a matter of fact we get along very well with every club. Not sure where you are getting this info from.
2. My title says Impala SS, always has. Some insurance companies didn't know how to decode the VIN and some insurance cars said Caprice in the early runs.
3. Not defensive, we call OURSELVES way worse. As a matter of fact, we pride ourselves on taking a huge car and making it outrun, outhandle, outcorner most cars out there. Maybe you missed our comments about running the road course at Waterford. And most don't refer to the SS's as looking like cop cars or taxi's, the 'trim level' made it look much better.
And, as stated, the CFers started the boorish behavior. Own up to it.
