The bolts go into bushings that get tight in the mounting brackets and hold tight against the alternator. These bushes have maybe made a slight impression in the alternator and just need to be loosened up.
The following is a post that had the same problem and managed to loosen the hold.

I hope this helps, it is just held in by the tight fit once the bolts are out.
