I can't see how an OEM (lower flowing) pump would cause a fluid leak in the intercooler. I am one of the skeptics that thinks there might be problems when going to a significantly higher flow rate. If a pump flows faster then the intercooler can flow, a pressure increase 'could' possibly be an issue at the intercooler. Note, I have NO info to back this, it is purely my thought process...
