You could be right Buggin. What gives me abit of comfort is companies like Eurocharged selling CM30 Johnson pumps I'm sure they'd know the logistics of how they operate and any potential problems.

Basically as we all mod our cars with pulleys and tunes etc, the engine works harder which means it produces extra heat so an upgraded pump that can flow slightly more should be essential in my eyes.

However much like you I also have no theory or evidence to back this up so it's just words at this point.

I'll note I did have a spare intercooler that I sold to a member on here I'm starting to wish I kept it after what you guys are saying lol.
