In the interest of supplying a kit that works now and for the life of the car AND does not put the cars electronics at risk. I have decided to do some worst case scenario torture testing on the unit. So far it has worked fine but I would like to verify that, under any and all circumstances, it is not upsetting the cars electronics (or look up tables for acceptable inputs) . Plus I want to make sure that, withing reason, the installation process does not expose the cars electronics to any risk (we all know how pricey parts can be for these cars).

This may hold things up a little longer, but I would always rather err on the side of caution when it comes to the safety of my cars and all of your cars.

p.s. anyone nearby ( in the SF south bay area of ca) who has a star diag tool, I'd love to hear from you as I want to scan my car again before I start shipping. I am going to get my own soon enough, but if someone nearby has one, it will speed up the kit release.
