I remember the morning I picked the crossfire up. The sales person at the time handed me the keys. The only advice he gave to me was how to put the car in reverse. I have a 6 speed and he told me to pop the stick up. This may be a common feature in German cars but I had never heard of such a thing before. That is all he said to me... and looking back I thank him for the heads up!
What drives me crazy is watching kids that work at the dealership trying to move my car in the garage bay. They just sit in the car for about 5 minutes and can't figure it out. Jamming my shifter.... just drives me crazy. That is why I decided years ago that NOBODY will drive my car but me!
Knowing this wouldn't you tell the person working on your car how to get it in Reverse? You were thankful that the salesman told you about it, I bet the technician trying to move your car would be thankful too.
I remember when I got my first one back in 05 too. Waiting 5 months for it to arrive, and the first time I saw it. I still have photo's somewhere of it with the tape on it. I might still have photo's of them unloading it off the covered trailer.
