I remember when I got my first one back in 05 too. Waiting 5 months for it to arrive, and the first time I saw it. I still have photo's somewhere of it with the tape on it. I might still have photo's of them unloading it off the covered trailer.
This is what happened on many occasions....
I would park the car in front and approach the technician. He would take the keys and I would be waiting around the lot for the car rental. I assumed the technician would take the car and pull it around back. Before I knew what was going on, he would throw the keys to one of the kids hanging around. Before I could catch the kid (or knew what was going on) he would jump in my car. It is now too late.
My car was not ordered.... so you got me there. I wish I had pictures of it all wrapped up. My car came from another local dealership and they traded some vehicles for it (they traded it and had it sent over for me). However, I still have the window sticker and bunch of other things I threw in a box. I recently went through the box and found the famous multi purpose tool. Didn't even know I had one
