Thanks, But we did get it going. It turns out that if you take the covers off of the vent fan and tap on the shaft of the fan motor it would start working again. Sometimes it would come on by itself but most of the time it would have to be tapped on.
Thank goodness for cell phones and a knowledgable brother back home. I have to say though that kneeling on the pavement in a gas station parking lot at 115 degrees trying to work on it wasn't the greatest thing I've ever done.
