Having a scientific background that usually questions everything, (Pharmacy), I have a resistance to "assuming" things like this. That's why I asked others to chime in. Hopefully someone who can definitely solve this. I have read where others have used the Mobil 1, and seemingly have had no problems, but I have also read (somewhere) that the auto tranny that we have needs to use the "correct" fluid at the service interval to ensure that it never needs service again. (at least thats what I also have read) Also, from what I again have read, is that the balance of special lubes are present to assure proper lubrication. Engineered in Germany by MB and distributed by Mopar . That's about all I can help you with ..... and thats why I bit the bullet and used the Mopar stuff in my tranny at our GTG at Johns house. I just didn't want to take the chance. Expensive yes .... but......
