The TVT tubes require band clamps to be used on the airbox side and on the silicone tubes passing through the core support... Anytime the motor shifts on the mounts, the band clamps pull crooked and no matter how many times I've straightened them out, they go back crooked after hard driving. No doubt, I need to be investigating motor mounts soon.

Also, the TVT tubes retain heat for a much longer time than the OE plastic. The plastic is very thin, so even though it does a poorer job of insulating from heat, it also sheds it faster. Finally, I've never been a huge fan of the fit on the driver's side... it always seemed a bit crowded.

shoot john i have thse tubes sitting in the shed. fwiw i wouldnt swap what you hyave for the tubes. too much disturbance in the flow. do the motor mounts and the clamps wont move. use heat wrap tape to keep the tubes kool. oh yeah that stuff is in the shed also!
