Yikes. Glad things worked out for you.
I suppose that I should invest in AAA if I decide to drive my car down to Florida in November/December. Considering that it took Tire Rack nearly 4 months to find the tires that are on my car at the present time, I seriously doubt that anyone will have them in stock.
I do have a spare 18" wheel with an OEM Conti. Early on, I curbed one front wheel and got a replacement and my wife suggested that I put the rashed wheel to good use. So now I have a spare. No jack, No lug wrench. No place for the spare in the car. But I have a spare.
