(Lets say several times in the same trip I floor it from a standstill, sometimes it will kick in and rocket forward, other times it just gradually accelerates.) Is this a sign that the "intercooler pump" is going bad?

Also, I talked with the Crossfire certified technician at the Chrysler dealerhsip about it and he said that there is no intercooler pump because superchargers don't have intercoolers like turbochargers do. Is this correct? I looked at the repair manual and i don't see anything about intercooler pumps in there. I do see a "charge air cooler circulation pump". Is that the part everyone is referring to?
