The offer is VIN-specific to 2005's according to the
last 8 digits. It extends an
extended warranty, regardless of ownership, to
120 months of 100,000 miles.
I would be interested in understanding how many adhesive failures we have had on 2004 roadsters, 2006, 07, 08 as opposed to the 2005 model. Maybe Chrysler has determined that the 2005's were a particularly bad run of vulcanizing jobs.
In any event, it is remarkable that Chrysler is coming forward.
