You know it is tough to say without actually hearing it. Are you sure you don't have a tire rubbing in the wheel well? I have never heard my OEM size tires rub, but when I take my wheels off the car, there is evidence on both sides of the car of the tires rubbing in two areas of the wheel housing inner fenders.
