In what country are you looking? The fact that you stated km instead of mi makes me think you are located outside of U.S. To answer your question, the platform is one of the most reliable in MB history. It does have a few quirks, parts are getting a little harder to find, and taking it to a dealership for service will be very costly. They have a cult following, and pretty much any question you can think of, someone on this forum can answer.
My suggestion would be to test drive a base, limited, and an SRT-6, if possible. Not much difference in the first two, aside from seats and color choice. The latter comes with an awesome bonus feature: PERMAGRIN. A disease I don't need the cure for............
