Introduction and Thank You
Hello folks. My name is Don and I live in Oberlin, OH. On a trip to Dallas about 3 weeks ago, my wife spotted a white Crossfire and fell in love with it. She asked me what it was and I told her. She asked if she could have one and I said....sure...why not.
So, when we got back to Ohio, I started looking around and found that there were some really good deals out there on these cars. She and I are both fans of white cars so I finally found what I HOPE to be a very nice 2004 Crossfire Limited with just under 32,000 miles on it. I did enough research to know that I was paying top dollar for it but it had the color, mileage and etc. that I wanted so though it wasn't a fantastic deal, it was a good enough deal so I bought it yesterday. I only took it for a test drive and then turned it over to my wife. She is already in love with it.
Now I run a forum very similar to this one but mine is dedicated to a certain brand and model of motorcycle. So I know the value of a community such as you have here and immediately got online and started looking for a forum dedicated to this car. I was very happy to find this place.
One thing that I noticed right off the bat was the sticky key issue. That was the first thing that I noticed when I got in the car and the first thing that I started researching last night. With the information that I have found here on that issue, this site has already saved me some money. So thank you for that information.
I'm sure that I'll end up with more questions over the next days and weeks and am thankful to all of you whom share so much information here.
Don
