There's a good history to the car that you have pictured- I believe that it belonged to a former forum member that had a few minor problems & got frustrated with it. All the fixes seemed to be posted but he never looked them up - it was a shame. But don't pay too much for this one - other members were talking about going in & offering $8K to see where that would go.
I am associated with an independent dealer in the Ottawa area, and maybe can help out with some pricing questions that you may have. If you pm me, I can see if anything has gone through the auctions recently, and what they may have gone for. The idea of going to the states is a good one, though. Their pricing and availability has been better than ours - I bought our roadster there last summer & it was by far the best deal I could find. Bringing the car through customs was a breeze.
The exhaust pictured is probably Magnaflow - someone else can verify that. But it will be readily available, I'm sure. I have had a factory exhaust system on order since June due to accident damage, and have been advised that it won't be in until October. Some parts are getting hard to find, but you will be able to make do.
