To add to this rash = bent wheel theory I to had the same issue!
After purchasing my car I noticed the tires needed replaced so I took over to my uncles shop they fixed me up with cooper xeons. I did notice that al of the wheels had rash on them... After 10,000 miles no burn outs or track driving the tires were shot!!! I was furious I took them back to the shop and my uncle was puzzled. I took the car to my other uncles garage and had the alignment checked and it was fine. So, back to the tire shop and we pulled the tires off. My uncle said give me that wheel. He rolled it across the floor and it shook and wobbled we both looked at each other with wide eyes and the same results with the other three!!! I went home and ordered my TSW wheels and had them get me hankook v12s I have 8000 miles on them and a few burn outs the damn things look great!! O btw the bastards smoke like crazy!!!! Nice thick white smoke n like 4 seconds of spinning!
