Be sure when you do this that the key is turned all the way to the run (on) position - not the accessory position or start position - otherwise it doesn't reset. It is very easy when doing the reset to think that you are at the run position when you have only reached the accessory position.
I know all the guidelines, I work at firestone so I reset oil lights for a living LOL but I just can't get mine to work
