I just called and ordered the part for my 05' Crossfire after receiving my letter. (I have attached a copy of the letter to this post.) The dealer said that there is now a national back order and it may be about 3 weeks to get the part.
My dealership is Huffines Jeep/Dodge in Plano, TX. They have always been very good to me and provided me with top notch service and never try to cheap out on me on repairs and warranty items and such. In fact they were going to replace my entire top for $250 after my rep went to bat for me a couple of months ago about the window falling out even though Chrysler initially said no f'ing way and wanted to charge me about $2,000.

(At that time I of course opted for a $10 tube of Window Weld.)
Obviously I am in TX and I do have an extended warranty, but those of you that are not in Southern states should keep fighting or find a different dealer that wants the work. They get paid everytime they do a warranty repair right?? I would think they would all try to push it through as much as possible.
Anyway...Good Luck to the rest of you. I will post later when the work is done to let you know how it looks.
