Just wanted to post a general thank you for this site and the contributors on it! Have an '05 Crossfire Coupe ( white one that goes by the name of Space Ghost) and started having the dreaded shut down/won't crank issue. Called the dealer and described the prob and they gave me the 'ole "who knows, bring it in" speal. Looked online in general and found some scary stories of multiple repairs/still having problems. Found this site and the CRANSHAFT POSITION SENSOR THREAD. Just put a new one in ($56 at Autozone). Won't know for sure if it fixes the prob unless it stops happening, but I believe it will as the decription of the prob here mirrored mine exactly. Thanks again to all those who post helpful threads on this site!
