I wonder if those who filed a NHTSA complaint in the US were included in the recall.... Maybe that is the key. One of the problems of fixing issues yourselves is it does not get the info required to the NHSTA / DOT for a recall. I know I never put in a complaint to anyone about my ignition switch - I just fixed it - maybe I should have filed a complaint. My top isn't loose but I have to assume it may in a couple years if everyone elses is. Also if you imported a car from the US and this happened, it is a safety issue. Maybe more complaining is a first step in getting these issues fixed for free for everyone. If you can't get any where with Chrysler Canada I am sure they would love to hear about it at the Ministry of Transport:

Keep up the US and Canadian complaints and it will make it much easier to file a small claims court complaint if you have proof they a) covered some tops because of a defect, b) you had the same problem and c) there were multiple complaints unresolved. The more you complain the more you have to gain!

What gets my goat the most is being lied to.

First because of "Delivery State". Then "Assembly line in Michigan".
