worth mentioning that while the picture I posted of this wheel (showing the cutout and the tape measure) showed some of the steering wheel rubber left in the pocket ... it turned out that the paddle switch fit perfectly with ALL of the rubber in the hole removed (leaving only the steel frame exposed).

to be clear, the only "stubborn" part was getting the securing bolt out .... cutting in the paddles went quite nicely once we determined where we wanted them. Be warned fellow modders ... use some anti seize on the underside of the steering wheel securing bolt
