Not many aftermarket mods for the Crossie off the shelf. Fortunately, to make the conversion you wish, you need virtualy none.

However, a little more kick in the pants can be had from Tuners like Eurocharged and Components (CAI) from Needswings. They are well respected sponsers here.

265 HP is easily achieved on the NA. 285 HP a reasonable goal with in a small budget. Braking upgrades, pads, rotors, caliper sets, can be had from Benz compatable sources. Suspension and exhaust mods are also readily available.

There are also plenty of guys and gals promoting slasher stripes, stickers, badges, and other stick on "performance mods" at very reasonable prices. Get a Sprint booster. Best "performance" mod for throttle control in the Autocross, especialy if you have a stick shift. I recommend one from SRT SIX out of California.

Basicaly however, you can go stock with the right changes to tires and brake pads. As others have indicated, you are driving a car factory prepared for the purpose you have suggested.

There is not a lot of companies competing for our little mongrel's appetite for aftermarket performance parts. But the few we have are loyal to this customer base and serve us well. Stay off of EBay for such parts. Ask here and you will get proven advice on any component or tune. All from folks who will back it up.

Jane Bridges is possibly our most notorious autocrosser. MadMed05, who also produced a custom vent carbon fibre hood, is into the sport. MIMI05SRT6 & Velociabstract, seem to run and there are many others. Then we have tinkerers like Woody and Rcompart who have some knack for the little specialties and big power.(can you say V8?)

I suggest you name your poison and somebody here will give you the "skinny" of from whom to buy it.

Glad you're with us. Welcome
