Default Re: PCM questions

The rebuild that Texas T talks about sounds like a great deal. It would still need to be prgramed to the car. It would be easy to program with the Chrysler system but would be tricky with a MB SDS system that I have since Crossfire is not a selection. Most independant shops buy used units and have them unlocked by Beckmann Technologies. Beckmann charges $250 to unlock and there are always lots of these on ebay. There is no way I would pay $1900. I hope you get it covered under the emissions warranty. If not Get the rebuilt as long as it comes unlocked and ask an independant shop how much to program to the car. It is an easy straghtforward process for a shop that has the Chrysler system. Hope this helps
