Re: 1995 Chrysler Cirrus
Tested all the spark plugs it is getting spark to all of them and it looks about equal amount of spark. The timing belt is tight and looks to be in good shape. I don't have the tool or knowledge to tell wether the timing is off. It will set and run for hours tho and it doesn't run rough until your start giving it gas. The cat was removed all ready because I thought that was the problem If it was fuel i don't think I could get it to rev to red line in neutral.
If a fuel filter clogs then you get a rough idle and it will bog down when you give it quick blips of the throttle right? The fuel pump is running I can here it kick on. Throttle cable is tight. I would blame it on the battery but its only 4 years old and when i parked it 4 years ago it was new and doing the same thing. I will test the fuel pressure tho. I wonder if there is a sensor that monitors transmission speed and the fuel system together?
