Default Re: Hardtop for Roadsters?

Lars it's been discussed here before, just do a search of "Removable hardtop". Here's the thread I started a while back:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...e-hardtop.html
If I had a roadster, (and I drove it year round) I think I would probably try to have a fiberglass top made by the same shop that did my hood. Those guys can build anything.
Something along the lines of the C1 Corvette removable roof. I think the curved profile of the Vetts top would flow quite well with the Crossfire Roadsters tail, and it would offer excellent visibility as a bonus.
Just by using the XF's current convertible top "header" that fastens onto the windshield housing (from a salvaged roadster) a fabricator could probably come up with something. If for no other reason it would be something different, and take it from me it's fun having one of none.
It's going to cost several thousand dollars though.
Any investors?
