When i bought my car this sticker came on my car. As i was pulling the dash apart today i pulled it off for some stupid reason. Since the sticker is metal it bent and i won't be able to glue it on with out straightening it out. Right now im working on flatening it out but i don't think it will work so well. I think that sticker came from that scam artists Dan at crossfireaccessoriesandmore.com. From what I have read he is a really rotten bugger.
To get the glue off the dash try a windex soaked rag. I have had really great luck in the past getting old gunky glue off plastic that way. You have to let the soaked rag sit on the glue for a little while (minute or so) and then it wipes off most times.
Otherwise maybe a non-acetone nail polish remove (I think that is a bit more risk though.)
Or try peanut butter maybe? I got some sap off of my fender by putting peanut butter on it and letting it dry out over night.
