To reset the 'bulb out' indicator you find and replace the broken bulb. But in my case I cannot find what causes the 'bulb out' light to come on and then go out.

My car has daytime running lights that are on all the time the car is in gear and the light comes on for a couple of seconds when I park and take it out of gear. Probably a glitch in the system when it senses a whole bunch of power is missing from the sensing circuit, the low beams and anything else that goes off.

Has anyone found out if there is a 'bulb out' indicator in the case of a broken 'bulb out' indicator bulb?
