Default UK Crossfires - Extra Meets 22 Oct 2011

Extra Meets - Sat 22nd October

Two extra meets have come our way! Both on the 22nd of October – one
North and one South – so take your pick if interested in going along!

(1) 22nd of October
UK Crossfire Group & PT Cruisers have been invited to visit ACD Specialist Chrysler Jeep Breakers at Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. (See link on our website). This no ordinary breakers yard – the cars are completely dismantled and parts cleaned and labelled up for stock on the shelf. What with the increasing shortage of parts at the dealers and their often ridiculous cost, we will become reliant on specialist breakers to keep the Crossfires on the road in the future! In the past I have received many questions about finding replacement parts for our cars, and through our friendship with ACD we will now be able to locate anything we need at a sensible cost. A partly stripped Crossfire will be up on the lift so if you ever wanted to know more about the technical side of you car, bring a list of questions and come along for a guided tour! We can arrive there as early as you like, but by 10.30 ish will be good!
We have many members in Humberside, Yorkshire, North East, Lancashire, North West, who have never been to a meet - so come along, meet up with other owners and enjoy some Lancashire hospitality - Catering is provided!

ACD Specialist Chrysler Jeep Breakers, Brookside Mill, Brookside Street,
Oswaldtwistle BB5 3PX. Tel: 01254 301021

Please let us know asap by email if you will be attending.

(2) 22nd of October
UK Crossfire Group & PT Cruisers
Following the success of last year's visit to the Ace and the cruise from the Ace over to the London Motor Museum, this year the cruise from the Ace Café will be to the London Motorcycle Museum at Greenford. It's another quirky museum and charts to history of the British Motorcycle. The museum is only 10 minutes drive from the Ace Cafe and unlike last year, this one has plenty of parking! Provisional timetable is 11am at the Ace Cafe for brunch and a natter, then cruise to
the London Motorcycle Museum at about 2pm, finishing after 3pm. We will get discounted entry as long as there are at least 10 of us including the PT's: £4 for
adults, £2 for Seniors. Sounds very good value!

Please let us know asap by email if you will be attending.
