Default Re: Eurocharged Sc pulley Vs Needswings 178 pulley

Is it a typo, or WHY is Eurocharged listing their 181 pulley @ 17.5 psig of boost and their new SC pulley @ 18 psig? And claiming the same torque #'s. And worth mentioning is their statement that if you want more power you still have the option of ordering the 185. They don't say the 181, they say the 185. Just Marketing? The math puts the new 64.7mm SC pulley @ 18.7 psig according to the formula I got here from a Forum member. I would have liked a little bit smaller SC pulley also but it sounds like it would need to be titanium for the walls to be that thin and maintain proper strength/integrity? If it was easy or any better why didn't Code3 or Eurocharged just make it smaller? I'm believing that this new SC pulley is just like EC says; a good balance of performance and long term wear and tear.

After several Autocross events this year, I realize very clearly that it's the driver mod that's the most important. Not who has the biggest (or smallest in this case) pulley, SC, or turbo. Sorry for the long ramble.
