I bought this xfire from a Nissan dealer in Phoenix. Much to my surprise I was contacted by one of their service managers this morning and he suggested I bring the car in and let them look at it. After two different mechanics test drove it and they made an attempt to adjust the clutch followed by another test drive, they acknowledged that it is in fact slipping. They apologized for not having caught that prior to selling me the car and asked if they could keep it for a week to repair it. They even offered a free loaner car. At this point I'm blown away. I'll be back in 7-10 days to report the outcome. If it ends up being as positive as my experience today I'll be calling them out by name in nice bold letters.
