Default Re: Winter

I've had the joy of an unplanned departure from the road in my '98 camaro (No limited slip or traction control while mountain driving in AZ)... I'd like to avoid it in the crossfire. I've been through one winter here and there was only one morning that I would have been SOL with the crossfire. I have the continental tires, will some weight in the back improve things for mild/slushy conditions? How much weight would anyone recommend? I cant afford another set of wheels right now (unless its a really good deal)... So I don't think I'm going to go for snow tires.

My ideal solution would be to balance my car by picking up a Hummer (H1 of course) for winter. I'll have to wait till I hit it big in Atlantic City for that though...
