Hmm, I may have to try this with my illegal U-Turn violation I just received, which is 3 points. And I was even looking at all the officers on their bikes sitting and waiting in the lot across from me before I made the turn when I got the green arrow. I hate it when I don't see the signs that are not in plain sight!
