Thank for sharing. In Texas you can pay the fine and ask for deferred Ajudication which means if you don't get a ticket in their jurisdiction it will not go on your record. I did this four times in a month. thankfully each ticket was in a different jurisdiction! I now have a radar detector and no problems since. I don't try to speed but not having cruise control on the highway was my main problem. No cruise control with a V8 yet.
