I asked what it was for and he said it used a roll of toilet paper. I changed the roll once before getting rid of it. I can't remember the brand. this was in 1976 and it was very popular back then and considered the best way to filter oil. Maybe some of the older guys on here will remember the brand. I would worry about the papper breakin down and getting into the engine. Maybe you have to use the tough stuff like the kind you find at a gas station restroom
I blow holes though TP when I blow my nose.. I couldn't imagine it holding up to oil under pressure.
