Default Re: Our Cars Are Already Classics... ?

With this type of coverage, can it be used as a daily driver, or is there a limit on the mileage you can put on?

I answered that question in post #36 in this thd. here is the answer. also was told that it could not be driven to the Dr.'s office or the grocery store,, but too a event like the dragon is ok,, they told me that 3500 miles a year is ok and i could go over that if it was to shows or any car event no you can't drive it to work.

"sorry but i will not be joining the Hagerty company at this time, thanks for all your help.,, I feel, I love to drive my car more and more , not than just to events, it is a 2005 with 37000 miles on it , yet in Jan of this year it only had 30,000 miles so you can see how much more i am driving it now that it has the transplanted e55 Mercedes V 8 , every day i go somewhere to show it off or just to the beach where a crowd forms around my car. thanks jim,,, I have even had a guy start polishing it one time .

I was going to insure my car for 35,000.00 and they agreed and gave me a quote,,, it was a few dollars less than what i pay now,, then i ask if my car was totaled would i get 35,000.00 the answer was yes, i also ask can can i buy it back because of the engine and mods i have on it ,,again yes,for how much i as,,about 2/3 of the pay out, ,,, then i called my co. and ask how much would be the pay out and how much to buy it back pay out around 16000.00 buy it back for about 2000.00 ,with the 14000.00 in my pocket and my mods I could build another one., and i get to drive it as many miles as i want too, jim
