Re: 2am- IC Pump Install is done...Wow!!!!
Thanks, good to be here. IAT temps today have all stayed 10-20 degrees above ambient. Cold day.(55) IAT's running 65 to 75 depending on boost. Very happy with the Lightning/Cobra pump. Really very easy to change if you plan ahead and get a couple of parts. I swore I had butt connector and clamps in my tool box but as always couldn't find them at 11 pm at night. I have an Autozone within a mile that closed a 9pm, next place available was Walmart 20 miles away. Had to get my first project done. Really wouldn't take you much more than 45 mins. The original hose clamps are pain, just replace them with normal type clamps to save time and hassle. Didn't lose hardly any coolant.
Next project is a DIY CAI. I think I will go will a single pipe with a conical K&N. What size silicone adapter do I need to go the manifold. Diameter to Diameter and what radius bend. I've look through alot of post but don't see a step by step. Would like to locate filter behind the grill. Has anyone used Autozone Spectre parts to piece one together. I've noticed some just get universal ebay kit. Anyone point me in the right direction.
