One of the better eBay suppliers of the steering damper is
joetlc. $19.95 + S&H; probably $25 to your door. I bought 2 of these back in April for $50.25 delivered. From my perspective, this part is something you change every 30k or 2-3 years, based on your driving style. Cheap maintenance.
