when I first did this in my car, I was concerned about the clearance to the turn signal lever too (and the cruise lever and voice command lever) .... and I just assumed that I would move the levers a little bit. As it turns out, in my car, it as never been a problem. All the levers and paddles in close proximity ... but never in the way of each other.

however, if someone does find on their car that they are too close, moving the levers back towards the dash a little (with a little help from a heat gun perhaps) should be an easy thing to do.
