I work in the dealer network for Nissan, and if the pump is required for the engine to properly function, it's covered. If the seatbelt failed and you went flying through the windshield, could they choose not to cover it because it's an auxillary part of the seat? Methinks not.

Call Chrysler's consumer affairs line and raise bloody hell.
